This is a celebration of life, so please feel free to be comfortable and wear joyful colors.
What to Expect
This is an opportunity for Katie’s loved ones and friends to come together to celebrate the incredible person she was and her amazing life.
Formal eulogies and sharings will not be included in Katie’s Celebration of Life; however, we welcome you to share your memories and stories in photos and in writing.
Photos can be shared here. Some selected photos may be included in a slideshow during Katie’s Celebration of Life.
Written memories and stories will be collected and compiled into a book for Katie’s family. You may submit memories through the website here or in writing at Katie’s Celebration of Life. If you wish for your memory or story to be shared during Katie’s Celebration of Life, please submit it here and click the box indicating that you would like it to be shared.
This will not be a formal religious event, nor will this be a traditional funeral.
Fun & Games
Katie loved hosting game nights and sharing reading recommendations. We welcome you to bring a gently used game or book to swap in honor of Katie (this is optional). There will be a table at Katie’s Celebration of Life where you can leave a book or game to share.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in Katie’s name to one of her favorite charities, or the cause of your choosing.
